I currently live in Orange County, California where I was raised, but I take joy in knowing I've left little pieces of my soul scattered in different places around the world. I'm an avid traveler, but I have a special fondness for France, Mexico, and South Africa, all countries where I've lived for a time to either study or teach.

I have a B.A. in English Literature from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where I also studied French and creative writing. When I'm not working, I love exploring new places, reading at the beach, running, baking, and writing fiction.
